Individual Art Therapy

Creative Support for Tender Times, or Art Therapy for the In-Between Spaces

You might be carrying more than anyone sees

Maybe your body feels like a mystery, some days heavy with fatigue, other days caught in cycles of pain. You’ve tried to explain, to name what’s happening, only to be met with blank stares or well-meaning advice that misses the heart of it. You might be navigating life in a body that doesn’t follow the rules, while holding grief, questions, and a quiet longing to be truly understood.

Here, you don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to justify how hard it’s been. There’s room for you to exhale, to be met where you are, and to reconnect, with yourself, with your body, and with the parts of you that are still growing, still hoping, still whole.

You might feel…

• Like you’re always pushing through, even when you’re running on empty

• Worn down by invisible symptoms no one else seems to notice

• Uncertain about what’s ahead, and unsure where to find steadiness

• Disconnected from your body, your boundaries, or your creative voice

• Wishing for a space where you can be heard, really heard, and gently supported

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. You don’t have to prove how hard it’s been. Here, you’re invited to show up exactly as you are.

What Virtual Art Therapy Can Feel Like

Virtual art therapy is a space to breathe, slow down, and reconnect – with yourself, your story, and your inner wisdom. Sessions are a blend of talk and artmaking. You don’t need to be “artistic”, we use creativity as a process, not a product.

You might draw, paint, collage, write, or simply explore what it feels like to create, without needing it to look a certain way. Together, we’ll follow what feels right: exploring emotions, practicing self-compassion, or creating rituals of rest and reflection.

In our sessions, you’ll find:

• A space where your experiences are validated and held with care

• Gentle curiosity instead of pressure

• Room to honor your limits and celebrate your resilience

• A therapist who brings lived experience, creative practice, and deep respect

• Support in tuning into your body, needs, and boundaries, on your own terms

Sessions are one hour long and held virtually. We’ll schedule based on what feels sustainable for

you, whether that’s weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

What Might Be Possible

Therapy won’t erase your symptoms, but it can help you feel less alone inside them.

Over time, you might notice:

• A softer relationship with your body

• A greater sense of agency in your decisions and boundaries

• Confidence in asking for what you need

• More moments of quiet joy, rest, or creative flow

• Feeling deeply seen, even in the messy or in-between spaces

There’s something sacred about making art in the midst of uncertainty. It won’t fix everything, but it can hold you as you find your way.
